The XY motor assembly is the industrial-grade actuator responsible for the high-speed lateral movement of the print head. If you are experiencing lost steps (layer shifting), excessive noise during travel, or if the print head fails to home correctly, the internal windings of the motor or the pre-installed drive pulley may be worn.
