The Sliding Block 610 Assembly is a fundamental component of the Ultimaker XY-motion system. These blocks house the sintered bushings that glide along the 8mm linear shafts, translating the rotation of the stepper motors into precise print head movement. Over time, belts can stretch and bushings can wear; this official assembly kit provides everything needed to refresh one axis of your printer’s motion system, restoring the accuracy and quiet operation of your machine.

This kit is specifically designed for the standard-width Ultimaker models and includes the updated S-line slider block, which offers improved durability and easier belt tensioning compared to earlier revisions.

What is included in this assembly?

1x Slider Block S-line (229274): The reinforced injection-moulded housing that holds the bushing and secures the timing belt.
1x Sintered Bushing (1056): A self-lubricating oil-impregnated bronze bushing that ensures smooth, low-friction travel along the X or Y axes.
1x Timing Belt S2M 610 (1759): A high-quality reinforced rubber belt with a 610mm pitch length, designed for precision and minimal stretch.
1x Tension Spring D-shape (228757): The "D-style" spring that maintains the perfect amount of tension on the timing belt to prevent ghosting and layer shifting.
